Frequently Asked Questions
Choosing pregnancy or postpartum support is personal. These questions explain how Bump to Baby Nurse Concierge works, what is included, and whether the service may be a good fit for your family.
What is Bump to Baby Nurse Concierge?

Bump to Baby Nurse Concierge is a private-pay, RN-led support service for pregnancy and postpartum.

Clients receive personalized virtual education, appointment preparation, resource navigation, emotional support, newborn care education, and general guidance from one dedicated registered nurse.

Bump to Baby provides additional support between medical appointments and does not replace care from your healthcare providers.

Bump to Baby provides RN-led education, preparation, resource navigation, and support, but it does not provide medical care or replace care from your healthcare providers.

Bump to Baby does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, medication management, clinical triage, urgent or emergency care, labor management, mental health therapy, lactation consulting, or medical care plans.

Bump to Baby can help you understand general pregnancy and postpartum information, prepare questions to consider asking your providers, organize information, and identify resources to consider.

Bump to Baby does not determine whether a symptom or condition is normal, abnormal, urgent, non-urgent, safe, unsafe, improving, worsening, or resolved. Bump to Baby does not rule out any condition and will never advise you to delay contacting your provider, triage line, 911, or an emergency department.

Yes. Bump to Baby is an additional layer of support and does not replace care from your OB, midwife, pediatrician, primary care provider, therapist, lactation consultant, specialist, or emergency provider. You remain responsible for maintaining care with the appropriate licensed healthcare professionals.

Bump to Baby may be a good fit for expecting and postpartum families who want more personalized education, preparation, reassurance, and support between appointments.

It may be especially helpful for first-time parents, busy professionals, families navigating a complicated or uncertain pregnancy, and postpartum parents who want calm RN-led guidance as they adjust to recovery and life with a newborn.

Bump to Baby provides ongoing RN-led virtual support through secure portal messaging and scheduled phone or video appointments. The portal can be used for routine questions, updates, and support needs, while appointments and proactive check-ins are used for more in-depth education, planning, and follow-up.

Virtual support allows you to receive personalized guidance throughout pregnancy and postpartum without needing to travel for appointments.

Bump to Baby currently serves clients located in Georgia.

Services outside Georgia may be considered only if Bump to Baby confirms that services may legally be provided in the client’s physical location at the time services are provided.

Your physical location may be confirmed at enrollment and before scheduled appointments. Services may need to be declined, paused, or rescheduled if your location creates a licensure or legal issue.

You may enroll during pregnancy or after delivery. Pregnancy packages are based on your stage of pregnancy when enrollment is completed, while postpartum support is available for families enrolling after birth.

The earlier you enroll during pregnancy, the more time we have to work together before delivery. Current enrollment ranges and package details are listed on the Packages & Pricing page.

Pregnancy packages continue through 16 weeks postpartum, based on your baby’s actual delivery date.

Postpartum Support lasts for 16 weeks from the date enrollment is completed.

Services begin after the required agreements and consent forms are completed and the applicable nonrefundable enrollment deposit is received.
Secure portal access and scheduled support begin once enrollment is complete.

A nonrefundable enrollment deposit is required and is applied toward the total package price. Payment plans are available, or you may pay the full package price at enrollment. Payments are completed through Healthie.

Current package prices, deposit amounts, and payment schedules are listed on the Packages & Pricing page. Payment plans, automatic installment charges, cancellation terms, and refund terms are reviewed during enrollment and included in the Client Service Agreement before payment is submitted.

No. Bump to Baby Nurse Concierge is a private-pay service and does not bill insurance, accept insurance assignment, or provide superbills, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, or documentation for insurance reimbursement.

Payment receipts can be provided for your records.

After enrollment, ongoing RN-led support is provided through Healthie portal messaging and scheduled phone or video appointments. The portal can be used for routine questions, updates, education follow-up, appointment preparation, planning support, and resource navigation.

The portal should not be used for clinical review or interpretation of symptoms, photos, test results, vital signs, medications, infant weights, feeding logs, or other clinical information. Regular email and text messaging are limited to administrative matters such as scheduling, payment, reminders, and account questions.

Routine Healthie portal messages are reviewed as business operations and availability permit. Messages are not routinely reviewed on weekends, federal holidays, or announced closures.

Messaging is not monitored continuously, and Bump to Baby does not guarantee a response within any specific time period. Messaging should not be used for urgent symptoms, emergencies, labor concerns, newborn medical concerns, mental health crises, or other time-sensitive medical decisions.

After you submit a consultation request, Bump to Baby will review your information and follow up by email as availability permits.

During the free consultation, we’ll talk about where you are in pregnancy or postpartum, what kind of support you’re looking for, and whether Bump to Baby may be a good fit.

The consultation does not create a client relationship and does not include medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical triage, urgent guidance, emergency support, or medical decision-making. Response times may be longer during holidays, announced closures, or planned time away.

For urgent symptoms, emergencies, labor concerns, newborn medical concerns, mental health crises, or other time-sensitive medical decisions, please contact the appropriate healthcare provider or triage line, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or use an appropriate crisis resource.

Healthie, email, text messaging, the website contact form, voicemail, and Bump to Baby services are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent or emergency concerns. Please do not wait for a response from Bump to Baby before seeking urgent or emergency care.

If Bump to Baby reads a message that appears to involve an emergency, urgent symptom, labor concern, newborn medical concern, mental health crisis, or time-sensitive medical decision, Bump to Baby will not assess the concern, grade its severity, decide whether it is urgent, or advise you to wait. Bump to Baby will respond by directing you to the appropriate resource and will document that it did so.

You may ask routine questions about pregnancy preparation, appointments, birth planning, postpartum recovery, newborn care, general feeding education, non-clinical emotional support, resource navigation, and return-to-work preparation.

Bump to Baby can help you organize questions, understand general information, prepare for conversations with your providers, and identify resources to consider when something falls outside the service scope.

Questions involving symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, medication safety, medication dosing or timing, side effects, interactions, supplements, urgent evaluation, or provider-specific medical decisions should be directed to the appropriate licensed healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Bump to Baby may provide general education, appointment preparation, planning support, non-clinical emotional support, and resource navigation for clients experiencing pregnancy with higher-risk or more complex medical circumstances.

Bump to Baby can help you organize questions for your healthcare team, prepare for appointments, understand general information, and identify resources to consider discussing with your providers.

Bump to Baby does not manage medical conditions, monitor risk, interpret symptoms or clinical information, provide clinical triage, or replace care from your OB, maternal-fetal medicine specialist, midwife, or other medical providers.

Symptoms, treatment decisions, changes in condition, test results, medication questions, or clinical information that need review or interpretation should be directed to your healthcare team.

Bump to Baby may provide general feeding education, encouragement, and help preparing questions for your pediatrician, OB, lactation consultant, or other feeding-support professional.

Bump to Baby does not provide lactation consulting, individualized lactation assessment, weighted feeds, infant medical evaluation, diagnosis or treatment of feeding problems, or written feeding plans.

For individualized feeding concerns, infant weight concerns, supply concerns, latch concerns, pain with feeding, or medical concerns, please contact your pediatrician, lactation consultant, feeding specialist, or other appropriate healthcare professional.

Pregnancy loss, stillbirth, neonatal loss, maternal hospitalization, NICU admission, or another significant medical circumstance will be handled thoughtfully and on a case-by-case basis.

Depending on the situation, Bump to Baby may consider options such as pausing or modifying support, providing a credit or partial refund, extending services in writing, or referring you to another appropriate resource.

These circumstances do not automatically extend the service period unless agreed in writing by Bump to Baby.

The first step is to request a consultation. During the consultation, we’ll talk about where you are in pregnancy or postpartum, what support you’re looking for, and which package may best fit your needs.
